Job Description
- Developing and maintaining scalable and secure network designs for the ISP infrastructure.
- Developing and Implementing Network Management systems.
- Take a leading role in maintaining sound health of company network infrastructure and ensuring excellent service quality to clients.
- Identifying, researching and evaluating emerging Internet technologies and opening up new business fronts for the company.
Job Specification
- Good understanding of OSI Model and TCP/IP protocal suite.
- Bridging and switching concepts. • STP - IEEE 802.Id/ IEEE 802.1w, IEEE 802.1s
- VLANS, Tagging - IEEE 802.1q, 802.3ad
- VPN
- IP addressing and subnetting, Routing concepts, VLSM/ CIDR
- Hand - on knowledge with routing protocols - RIP V1/ V2, OSPF, BGP (with redundancy)
- In depth understanding of network security and access control.
- Experience with VoIP, QoS, and IP Telephony technologies (Asterisk, VPS, Porta One, MERA, Nex Tone) • Wireless Network Designs and Implementations.
- Web Hosting Technologies (Cpanel, Apache, Tomcat, DNS, SMTP, domain registration process) Other Specific Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will be an Engineer, who is a self-starter, with excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation, problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
- Quality focus, result and goal orientation in group situation, and commitment to customer delight are a must.
