Job Description

The Financial Analyst will closely work with Business, Servicing and Operations team and drive growth and enable end-to-end agent commission and revenue recognition processes.You will use your problem solving and analytical thinking abilities to spearhead a core sub function of the team and run processes, effectively communicate, and drive decision making.Responsibilities Include:

• Lead a core sub-function of Agency Finance and liaise with the Accounting and Servicing team.
• Number-crunch, understand and decipher large data sets to lead an informed business decision making process.
• Effectively communicate with the Insurance Carriers/Aggregators/Financing companies for revenue recognition purpose and disbursements.
• Create insights and decipher agent communication to provide the agents with suitable solutions.
• Refine and enhance existing growth processes.
• Assist the team in creating new processes and run them day-to-day with all the stakeholders involved.
• Assist in developing SOP, prepare presentation and documentation for internal use.

Experience:

• 2-3 years of relevant work experience (Financial Analyst/Revenue Analyst) with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong skills in Office Suite, data presentation and organization.
• Experience in identifying and solving problems in a high pressure, time sensitive environment.
• Proven track record of ownership and leadership
• Knowledge of insurance terminology and exposure to US insurance industry is a plus.
• Previous stint in an insurtech/Series A/B start-up is a plus
