Job Description

Education

  • At least Master’s degree in rural development/developments studies and any related subjects with 5 years' experience form reputed institutions on monitoring and evaluation frame work.

Knowledge/ Experience/ Skill

  • High skills on assessing, analysing and reporting on organizational development and community governance are mandatory.
  • Practicale knowledge on proposal writing, result framwork and theory of knowledge, monitoring and evaluation.
  • Experiences in coordinating and organising advocacy, campaign and other promotional activities with multiple-actors including media, facilitating knowledge transfer and development of tools/guidelines are also required.
  • Strong commitment, strategic thinking and learning attitude possessing proven capacity to work independently or with minimum supervision in team environment.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal communication and writing skills, both in English and Nepali languages are also essential.
  • Be able to make frequent travels to the remote communities.
  • Good computer skill, have a learning attitude, pleasant personality, energetic and interested to work in flexible hours.
  • Execellent facilitation skills on M&E related topics.
Program Monitoring Evaluation And Learning Coordinator (pmelc)

Job Specification

  • Set up simple systems to manage information generated by MEL activities, such as databases. Conduct data analysis and present and disseminate information .
  • Identification of MEL needs for COSELI & other programs and design the appropriate strategy to meet the needs.
  • Design the various survey tools and implement various assessments , ensuring assessment findings are documented and analysed and further use in reports. Lead the yearly outcome mapping survey of COSELI & other Programs.
  • Implement accountability mechanisms at field level, e.g. assessment, design, implementation, and review.
  • Stay in close coordination with the technical sector specialists to ensure that projects are carried out with the real targeted beneficiaries . A result based and performance based monitoring system has to be develop.
  • Design concept notes and proposal based on the learnings and findings to submit in to the various donors
